VISA AND IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS
All delegates must hold a valid passport with at least six months’ validity from the date of entry into Ghana. All delegates travelling to Ghana are required to have a valid Yellow Fever vaccination certificate upon arrival.
Citizens from countries requiring visa must obtain a Visa from the Ghana High Commission in his/her country or in the nearest country with a Ghanaian diplomatic representation. Delegates who are unable to obtain visa before traveling will obtain a visa on arrival at a 50% discount rate offered by the Government of Ghana to all delegates attending the 3rd AAAG Conference. The cost of visa on Arrival for the the 3rd AAAG Conference is USD 100.
Visa applicants are required to submit the following documents:
Regular Visa (Visa before travel)
Visa on Arrival
- Passport data bio page.
- passport photo
- Travel itinerary
- Valid Yellow fever certificate vaccination.
- Invitation letter from the host in Ghana or Confirmed Hotel Booking.
- Valid Ghana identification of Host (Preferably Valid passport or Ghana Card); alternatively Confirmed Hotel Booking can be used.
- Hotel reservation.
- $70 due for normal visa single entry fee.
- A passport valid for at least six months
- Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or host invitation letter)
- A return or onward flight ticket
- Evidence of sufficient funds for your stay
- A brief explanation of the purpose of your visit
- A formal request submitted to Ghana Immigration by your host organization
- Visa fee: $100 (50% discount offered by the Government of Ghana to the delegates attending the 3rd AAAG Conference)
